Each of the departments within the Healing Lodge of the Seven Nations is configured to optimize services for our young residents. The Administrative Department serves the treatment program by providing the resources necessary to provide an enriched experience within the financial and regulatory constraints present. At the core of what we do is the treatment departments - divided into three treatment programs to provide a more individualized and personal experience for the residents with the maximum amount of services needed. Pelpalwichiya Clan (Salish for butterfly) houses all female youth in treatment and provides a program focused on the unique needs of young ladies in a modern society. Sage Clan focuses on our young men whoes primary focus is on chemical dependency issues, and the Cedar Clan provides young men with additional mental health issues an overlay of services unique to them.
Several departments provide services to all residents including Culture, Medical, Aftercare, Expressive Arts, Education, and Food Services. The Facilities Department works to provide and maintain a comfortable and clean physical environment as well as maintaining our 50 treed and hilly acres making up the entire campus.
Altogether, our 80 plus employees work hard to provide the best possible treatment experience for our youth.
